bookmarks passwords

Post by geraldmouse »

I have lost 27 years of Bookmarks and stored logins. Yesterday V2.35.16 was working 100%. Today '360 Total
Security' told me I had something that needed removing which has turned out to be Seamonkey!
Before reloading Seamonkey, I moved all files still in the Seamonkey folder to a new location believing I could
paste the necessary files into the new program. I fear they went when 360 did its deletion.
I regularly perform backups but loose track of where -I am 80-. I did a backup when I installed V2.35.16 a short-while
back, so If you can advise of a suitable file I can do the rest in 'Search Everything'.
Is there one name I should search for? [email removed] Thanks so much; Gerald
I don't know Smilies otherwise I'd choose 'confused',,,,,

If you have a complete backup of your Seamonkey profile folder (%AppData%\Roaming\Mozilla\Seamonkey) you can copy it to its origin location when SM is not running.
If there is already a SM folder with a new profile, rename this folder to eG Seamonkey-old before pasting your SM folder from your backup there.
Now when you start SM, everything should be working again.
