Hi!
Does anyone here know how I could solve this problem?
In my Windows I have the setting that EML files are opened and displayed with SeaMonkey. Which of course works fine, but only when SeaMonkey is not running yet. When SM is active, I get the message when I double click on an EML file: "Another instance of SeaMonkey is already running." (I am using SM Portable Edition.)

No idea?
Can anyone at least tell me if the non-portable version of SM behaves the same way?

No problem with double click when SM is installed.
With SM portable you can use drag and drop

Re: SeaMonkey and EML files
Since you're using Portable, I'm thinking that rather then associating EML with "seamonkey.exe", you should set you association to "SeaMonkeyPortable.exe".
I don't use (Portableapps) SeaMonkey, so I'm not sure, but you could give it a try & see what happens.
(What is happening is that you're trying to open a second instance, & that is causing the message you are seeing.
