Re: facebook
humdee,
See the last two posts on the following page " http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 3&start=15 " by jgreer and myself for possible solutions. It would involve setting up a site-specific general user agent override for Facebook, using either Firefox/68.0 or Firefox/68.9. If you do not know how to set up a user agent override then read through the entire thread; several people offered detailed instructions---and do not use upper case letters! But keep in mind that with user agent tweaks there are no guarantees.

Re: facebook
See TPR75's post here - http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... #p14948288humdee wrote:Anyone else finding it impossible to open facebook or messenger with Seamonkey? I get a facebook error that says they're working on a problem. It's been doing this for months. So I've been using Chrome and Edge for fb.
To create site specific UA overrides, then see the Locked 'Sticky' thread here - http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... &t=3106156
It's fairly unique for a website to need more than one UA override, let alone three, but it is what it is and Facebook now works fine for others and myself.
