I've been trying to use mozilla for about 1 month. I started with 1.4 wich came on a cover - cd then downloaded 1.5.
My system uses win98se.
I have a dial up conexion (56k) and usually open up many windows then disconect and browse offline to avoid large phone bills.
In my other, evil browser, I could close everything, turn off the computer and when I'm back, everything was still there, provided I didn't do anymore online browsing.
In mozilla, sometimes (most times in fact) even the back button wont work right after disconecting (!), with much less extensive browsing.
Clicking the 'work offline' option on 'File' has no effect.
My cache size is the same as in 'evil browser', 100mb. Also, I clear the cache, browse only a little bit, and still can't browse off line. (!!!!!!!)
Thanks for any help.
How to work (browse) offline?

I also have this
I also have this problem, after searching these forums nobody seems to have an answer other than
1) "URL -> about:cache" - seems to work so far, will need to test further, just a bit cumbersome to use
2) "File/Work Offline" - doesn't work often/at all
3) "File/Save Page As" - Works but is static and a real work offline would be preffered
