Problem with web site

Post by tayq1 »

This web site http://www.dabs.com does not display properly on mozilla I would be grateful if someone took a look at it to tell me if it is an issue with my computer or with mozilla. Specifically it is where you go into look at products and you get product lists,(as here http://www.dabs.com/uk/channels/compone ... ?catid=187 ) when you do this only some of the list loads and sometimes none at all loads.
It’s not a problem with my fire wall or with any add blocking software
I am using mozilla 1.6b but it happened on 1.5.
My operating system is windows2000 service pack2

Thanks for your help.

Hi tayq1

I had the same problem with another website: Mozilla 1.5 couldn't download some aplets. So I deleted Mozilla 1.5, reloaded Mozilla 1.2.1 (the one I'm using now) and it works just fine. (By the way, I encountered the same problem with Firebird 0.7.)

No problem at all to load your 2 websites or any website with Mozilla 1.2.1.

Too bad that by uninstalling Mozilla 1.5 I screwed up something in my registry and lost the Mozilla icon display somewhere.

I tried the link given, got a list of products with the bottom of the page incomplete. I tried "view all", which gave a longer page (but nowhere near the 251 items expected), and incomplete bottom of page. I then clicked "back", and was surprised that the page was now complete.

That is from the source code of the actual page. The whole site is made with Microsoft tools = Internet Explorer only.

Oh, ok, sorry Mikael.

Then again, I have no problem to load this page and another website with Mozilla 1.2.1, while I couldn't with Mozilla 1.5.
