As you can see, the bug was marked a dupe. The new bug is 296803. The problem apparently occurs whenever a dropdown displays _above_ the field. And it's occurring on Windows as well.

It could be just an impression, but I feel that text rendering has improved a bit recently (since the release of Deerpark A1). It is particularly noticeable with East-Asian and South Asian text, but Roman text is better as well.

Or did my eyes improve with the summer weather here?

First time it failed on my incremental build from yesterday. So I deleted my MOZ_OBJDIR and tried again, just to see it fail with the exact same error.

Looking at Tinderbox I see there have been two Mac OS X specific checkins to progressui_osx.mm, which seems to be the cause of this.

Yes I saw his post earlier today, but have not had time to test it yet.
I'm downloading now, so lets see if we notice a performance increase. Or other major problems than you have already reported!

Hi,

I have been away for awhile.

Just return from a long vacation and am starting to use Deer Park again.

I notice that the Download Preferences "Ask me where to save every file" Still doesn't ask me where to save files. It is working with Deer Park in Linux.

As of writing am using 07/17 release.

carboncopy. Hope you had a nice vacation! :)

I use the "Ask me where to save every file" preference and its working as intended.
So I dont know why its not working on your side. Cause you have tried with a fresh profile, right?
