Unofficial Thunderbird 17.0. for Mac OS X 10.8 (Retina supp)

Thanks for testing. Normally my builds should use the OS X own spell checking. Does this not work for you? Have you disabled the system spell checker in any way?

OS X own spell checking - not working
system spell - is not disabled
and working normally in other apps

I solve like this :
install
thunderbird-16.0a2.en-US.mac.dmg
choose kee both

and now have both apps
in 16.02 - spell is working !!!
I can add more lang - and OK

after update to 17.01 - no retina suupport
so I return to 16.02

I have updated my builds to TB 17.0.2ESR. This build now should be fully Retina-ready. And spellchecker should work (it does for me!).

How do you get the Notification Center support to work? I was excited for that, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Won't show up in Notification Center control panel.
