Does anyone know how to compile a localised Firefox? I tried putting this in my mozconfig
Code: Select all
mk_add_options MOZ_CO_LOCALE="en-GB"
ac_add_options --enable-ui-locale=en-GB
But the build errors out with
Code: Select all
make[5]: Entering directory `/tmp/firefox-build-dir/extensions/spellcheck/locales'
Makefile:52: *** L10NBASEDIR not defined by configure.  Stop.
make[5]: Leaving directory `/tmp/firefox-build-dir/extensions/spellcheck/locales'
make[4]: *** [export] Error 2
make[4]: Leaving directory `/tmp/firefox-build-dir/extensions/spellcheck'
make[3]: *** [export_tier_platform] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory `/tmp/firefox-build-dir'
make[2]: *** [tier_platform] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/firefox-build-dir'
make[1]: *** [default] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/firefox-build-dir'
make: *** [build] Error 2

1) pull the locale files ->
2) provide the location with the locale files
Code: Select all
ac_add_options --with-l10n-base=../l10n-192

this folder needs a sub folder for each additional locale you want to use
