it's still a problem ?

haven't heard anyone else having this issue

if it continues file a bug report on the Google site but you'll have to provide every step necessary to reproduce the problem

the link on the Source page doesn't deliver any files

hg clone https://code.google.com/p/seamonkey-ppc/

to which I added a dummy certificate:
hg --config web.cacerts='/etc/hg-dummy-cert.pem' clone https://code.google.com/p/seamonkey-ppc/
destination directory: seamonkey-ppc
no changes found

what's the link to the page that maxes out your CPU usage ?

maybe there's a bad script that's causing a problem ? try using View -> Page Info then select Links then sort by Type to find the scripts being executed then one by one block any scripts from the various sites trying to run scripts then reload the page and see if it alleviates the problem

I swear website developers have gone stupid trying to use scripts to do everything under the sun on a webpage

Here are the links:

Figure 1 is the site "Euronews".

I could not block the script, I will ask on the forum Mozilla Italy of how to make .

Are you trying to watch a video on any of these pages while the page is loaded - the pages running on their own will use about 60% of my 1.67GHz CPU

your machine being slower should only take longer to load a page and keep it running but not boost the CPU usage unless you're using SeaMonkey to also view video etc

be sure to disable all your add-ons and plug-ins and see what that does for you

Well I messed up a tad here after a compiler upgrade - it may work for some of you and others not depending on what you have loaded on your Macs.

It seems that there may be a problem with the Library references i create copy and modify to make SeaMonkey a self contained package.

It escaped my quick test after a compiler upgrade i made on my development system here.

It may take a couple days to sort out and get a new executable as i cant devote myself to this 100% at this time.

Anyway hang in there 2.24 is on the way !

Thanks for your patience

Had a Libraries-related problem the first time around. If you had problems with SeaMonkey not launching or crashing etc try it again - Thanks
