I started using Ver. 42 as with Ver.40 I was getting "break point or something reached error". Now, Ver. 42 is working very well without any error, but I noticed that there is no choice "Ask every time" in Options - Privacy - Accept cookies from sites - Keep until. I would really like to have this choice back. Is that possible?

Otherwise, I really like this light browser. It works very well and the installation size is half of Firefox. Thank you!!

Running the program fails with the following message:
light.exe - system error
the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-stdio-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.
try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
OK

Awesome build. Runs much faster on my old laptop than standard, but I have strange problem: It doesn't show icons on Omnisidebar - sidebar. Any ideas why?

Thanks for help.

I use Light 44.0.
While viewing some web pages and scrolling down, Light displays only blank screen. When I scroll up and down, the page is restored.

Why is that?

Hi all..

I was looking for something lite for XP and came across the Light version( light-44) .

I had the usual problems, missing the .dll then needed to up grade the windows installer....all done. I then reinstalled the Light-44 software again...but clicking to start it....it crashes right way...

Any ideas ..?

Does the same thing occur if you launch the application in Mozilla Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

I am using Light 44.0 on an XP laptop.
I just discovered that the "Save Page" and "Save Page as" does not work.
It works fine in FF.
Please investigate.

I am just wondering when Light will be updated to 45 and when the "Save Page" bug is fixed.

Is Light still under development?

I am disappointed to find that Light is no longer compatible with XP with the new version Light 46.
I have really appreciated using Light on my older XP laptop.
Please reconsider including XP with Light.
Thanks

Yes, you are right. My mistake.

I have found a problem with the new version 46:
https://mail.yandex.com is being blocked with the message "your connection is not secure"--when I add an exception, it still blocks the site.

Also, the Mozilla Archive Format extension does not work.

Both of these problems do not exist with FF.

Please investigate.

Thank you.

Exception works for me. You need adding exceptions for the sub-domains. You can also replace light's certificates bundle with firefox's(nssckbi.dll).
try the beta version http://maf.mozdev.org/installation.html
