Light, a light firefox

Post by cstkingkey »

personal builds of Firefox. I slim down many components of Firefox.

support portable mode
both x86 and x64 available
win and linux builds.

By default, light can run along with firefox.
you can download and try it.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/lightfirefox/

branding design is welcome .

Like what?
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

I love this build. It's not slow and bloated like the newer Firefox has become. Thanks!

Sounds like a great product that provides absolutely no reason for me to ever use it!

Anyone else familiar with this? When building Firefox:

I cannot use --disable-skia or the build will fail with a syntax error. And it seems that no matter what, I still get the heath reporter.

It says that there's a syntax error at "FontConfig" or something related to fonts??

What's your need?

currently official firefox don't have the warning messages option too. and the blcok.... option is related to safebrowsing, which is slimmed out in light
