Hi There:
I am a new user of Pale Moon x64 on Vista Ultimate Edition. I am finding that this one site loads EXTREMELY SLOW. I have disabled plugins, run in Safe Mode, and have tried several other Gecko browser (including the latest Seamonkey, Firefox, Waterfox and even the x86 build of Pale Moon). On this PC, they ALL load this one site slowly.
Internet Explorer v9 (both x86 and x64 builds) load the site fine. And using a Gecko browser on Precise Puppy Linux (Seamonkey v2.19), it works on my notebook PC. So what gives?
Here's the URL to try.

Safe Mode eliminates the vast majority of possible bug combinations and/or plugins, but it's not 100% fullproof. Did you reuse the same profile for all the Firefox variants? If so, it could introduce complications if the issue is with the profile itself. The most watertight way to determine if it's a Firefox issue alone is to create new profiles in Profile Manager on all the variants seperately and test the site in each browser.
Note:SeaMonkey (on Windows at least) does not share the same profile folders as Firefox.

OK so given that I tried Seamonkey, and it was still slow, that means that I've fulfilled that "research" requirement, is that right? So I can safely say it isn't the profile then?

The site is loaded very fast in my firefox.
You can try the official edition with a clean profile.

Re: Site/Forum Slow in Pale Moon
I've performed all of those steps over the last hour and a half (including official Firefox with a new profile). So I am running now a clean Pale Moon x64 Profile. So none of that has worked. So what about Vista x64 Ultimate Edition would interfere? I've even attempted defeating Windows Firewall.
So far this affects ALL Gecko browsers with a clean profile.

Are you using any other Anti Virus and or security programs?
