Extension to stop Youtube Flash video?
I used to use Tubestop, but it's been removed from addons.mozilla.org. There's another one called Stop YouTube Autoplay, but it won't let me install it. There's another called StopTube, but it's only for HTML5 video. Is there a working one for Flash? Is there a workaround to install Stop YouTube Autoplay?
Is there a way to make FF's Click to Play only work on Youtube?

I use FlashBlock and choose which sites I want to give permission.

Depending on how PM corresponds to FF, you may need the "fixed" version of FlashBlock.
Fire 750, bring back 250.

FYI, I use FF as well.
What is the "fixed" version?
From Flashblock's page, it says:
"Note: Flashblock does not work with Javascript disabled or with NoScript installed."
Is that true as stated, or can NS be installed, but whitelisted for the site you want to use FB with?

3rd party fix for FBhere: http://1drv.ms/1q0dV5V I've been using it several weeks, and works OK, so link is safe.

Re: Extension to stop Youtube Flash video?
You could try "Youtube Center", it works with Noscript (I think) and has a wide range of options: prevent autoplay(the player will show the thumbnail until you hit the play button; it even works on embed videos), autobuffer, and likes on thumbnail preview(greent/red bar underneath the thumbnail), preferred resolution (this stops youtube from changing resolutions when I enter fullscreen, which drives me insane), and player type (flash or html5), among others.
Just make sure you get the latest version, the addons page may have an outdated version, I would suggest for you to look for it in Github, you can install it from there.

Flashblock won't work because it uses a whitelist and I don't really want to spend time creating yet another whitelist. A blacklist would work (if it still had the quick click to enable like FB).
Guess I'll try Youtube Center. I was hoping for something simple with no bloat.

I use 'Flash Control'. It places a button on the bar to click on or off. Also, if you click on the flash emblem on the video it will resume playing. Click the button again and it's off. I don't know if it conflicts with 'no script' etc. Many people use different extensions so results may vary. Works great for my setup.

That's expected behavior.
IOW its absolute stupidity on Mozilla's part (IMO).
What you're seeing here is your UA, & that is "33.0".
But the version you're running is different, & that is "33.1".
If you go to about: you will so both noted.
So in that respect, all is "correct".
(Don't get me started on "20100101".
Actually if you use that date, we're in FF's 4th year .
So much for Anniversaries.)

The UA only uses the Firefox major version number.

It won't install on PM. I'll install it on FF though.
Mod, the main thread topic isn't a Pale Moon issue.
