Firefox 64-bit build by xhmikosr last version is 40.0.2
Info
This is an unmodified, a.k.a. vanilla, 64-bit (x64) PGO build of Mozilla Firefox taken from the release branch.
As a 64-bit application it needs 64-bit plugins, the 32-bit ones won't work. The extensions should work like they do with the 32-bit Firefox.
Of course this build will use the same Firefox profile, so be careful when uninstalling any of the two builds, not to remove your settings and stuff.
The update checker and the crash reporter are disabled since this isn't an officially supported build.
Now, regarding speed, you should do your own benchmarks compared to the same 32-bit version of the browser. Certainly don't expect any miracles and in fact the 64-bit build might be slower in some cases.
Anyway, do your own benchmarks and keep in mind that this isn't an official build.
Build Info
Configure arguments:
--enable-application=browser --host=x86_64-pc-mingw32 --target=x86_64-pc-mingw32
--enable-release --disable-debug --disable-debug-symbols --enable-optimize=-O2
--enable-jemalloc --disable-updater --disable-update-channel --disable-update-packaging
--disable-crashreporter --disable-maintenance-service --with-windows-version=602
--enable-installer
The building environment is as follows:
DirectX SDK 9.29.1962 (June 2010)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Update 5
MozillaBuild 1.11.0
last version is 40.0.2

I don't think no debug symbols ( --disable-debug --disable-debug-symbols ) is good for builders, which will be hard for debugging and profiling.

There is no Firefox 36.0 final from Mozilla yet as the latest so far was the 36.0 Release Candidate build 1 last Friday. The earliest Firefox 36.0 will be on Tuesday Feb 24.

This should be a RC edition, and 36.0 RC2 is out yet.
I think Official Release x64 edition will be 37.0/38.0

Firefox 36.0 is out today. There was a RC build 2 so if this release was based on RC build 1 it may need to be built again.
Win64 version that is and Firefox37.0 is still the target for 64-bit Firefox for Windows I believe but like past big things there is possibility of a delay.

Re: Firefox 64-bit build by xhmikosr
last version v36.0.1 no more new version by xhmikosr is compiled
Info
Since v37.0, Mozilla provides official 64-bit builds for Windows. Hence, there's no point in continuing to provide my builds.

Re: Firefox 64-bit build by xhmikosr last version is 38
So this Firefox 38.0 is either based on 38.0b9 or a Candidate build like say 38.0 RC build2 made for QA. The Firefox 38.0 Release is not until next Tuesday May 12.
