You find native Firefox, Thunderbird and Camino builds for Mac Intel here: http://wiki.mozilla.org/Mac:Intel But expect more builds when the builders receiving their new Mac's.
Ex. I will start building Camino for Intel as soon as I receive my MacBook Pro.
Since this MAC Firefox has the name Minefield, then certain sites like Windows Live (for hotmail users), and Tagworld (a MySpace competitor), don't know what it is, and either put you in basic mode (Microsoft) or put up an annoying pop-up window saying that you need to use IE 6.0 or Firefox.
Can anything be done within the browser, or do the websites listed need to modify their software?
Please take a look if you wish. Took me a long time to figure out how to build them (was only looking at the Mozilla developer help pages).
Anyway, one problem I've had is that I've not been able to build a en-GB localised version. Build keeps failing on makejar.pl (I think)
Does anyone have any idea if using the --without-system-*** (jpeg, png, etc.) makes any difference to the speed? Also weather it is really necessary for Mac OSX builds at all (it seems they came about from Unix builds)?
I have been using the intel builds of ElFurbe's for a LONG time now, probably since he started releasing them, but for the last several weeks since the release of rc1, the build is stuck with that release while all the G* builds continue. Any explination? Hope that they get started up again. Thanks.
probably only doing major intel builds
the G* processors are really the ones who need the optimization as they are getting long in the teeth these days
