As far as I can gather from reading the original 'bug' for this preference, the preference for 1.9.2 nightly will be the following until actual release of 3.6:
extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6p
The preference for 3.6rc*, 3.6 release and subsequent 3.6.* versions is:
extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6
Bill.

Maybe i'm kinda dense or missed something but the thread has 57 pages!
Why do the intel builds go from 3.6pre to 3.7a1pre, where there used to be a plain ole 3.x.y version?

The latest official increment I can find for G5 builds (or any other optimization for that matter) is 3.5.5. I wonder why they stopped posting for 3.5.6, 3.5.7, and 3.6.

I would also like to have the release version of 3.6 optimized. However can't find it on his ftp...

Hi,
I think your work is genius but I didn't find anything in this thread about which build to use with my 1.8GHz (ppc970) processor that my iMac G5 uses.
Thanks!

Sorry guys, just haven't remembered to roll the latest release builds. I'll make a note to roll a 3.6 release version for everyone tomorrow. We'll hope I read the note.

The builds ... they seem to be broken? Latest as of today (Feb 23) is from Feb 11...
Just in case you don't already know.

Me too! I miss getting the freshest nightly build for my Mac.
The true 64 Bit builds are just to unstable and Camino can't be customized.
But elfurbe nightly builds are just faster than the official ones.
I look forward to getting them again.

My G5 was off the internet for a while, but should be back tonight. Sorry for the interruption.

Could we have an optimized 3.5.8? I'm using Chris Latko's 3.5.8 builds but yours seem faster.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers!

3.6.2 builds are up. Well, Intel is still compiling, but the others are up, and Intel should be done shortly. Enjoy.
