WF: Bookmarks Toolbar does not react on customizing...
I have to use Waterfox (latest version 40.03) as the normal Firefox is not running on my 64 Bit machine since a long time ago.
My Problem is the followong:
I want to have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" just above the tabs.
I use "Customize" to change and everything looks fine for me.
But: If I restart waterfox (64Bit) the Bookmarks Toolbar is back above the Navigation Toolbar. This was working latest with Version 35.
Any Idea how to solve this (this was appearing the first time with version 38 as I have not installed the versions between).
If this is not solvable. Is there any plan to have a 64Bit Version of FF?

Yes there will be Win64 for Fx 42.0 Release if all goes well.
There are Win64 builds on the Beta, Aurora and Nightly channels in Testing.

FYI
After trying around to install FF again (also in 32Bit Version) I managed to do so with a tiny workaround.
I installed Google chrome, which allowed me to download the installation file for firefox (if you try that in 64x"firefox" (which is Waterfox) you always get in Waterfox, that you have already installed the latest version).
After downloading the install (in Chrome) I could ran the setup. And for great suprise, no error message came up this time.
So I think the problem is solved, but you should think about a feature to reinstall the current version (especially the latest) and do not block the download at all... as you think you got it already.
And so far no side effects happened, as FF installed in the same folder as waterfox did...

We aren't the Waterfox developers, and certainly are not the Firefox developers. This is just a user-to-user help forum.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

Any idea, (as I'm back to FF) why this happens. Problem still there. If I is configure and just move the mouse over, the Bookmark toolbar jumps to the desired place. Stays there (as I want it). But if I restart FF it is back at the top and not below...
P.S. I do not want the reset my profile... as written - It happend after I installed the update (was working fine before)

Was that all the time?
As I thought some years ago it was... at least I got the feeling, that bugs have been fixed and in the thread we comments written, that let you believe that...

Every now and then Firefox developers will hang out here, and it's possible they did more before my arrival, but not in the last few years. There are some people around who are active contributors to bugs, but not Firefox employees or decision makers.

There were Mozilla employees here years ago in earlier days of the forum as Mozilla even used as a place for people to get Firefox, Thunderbird and Mozilla suite (now SeaMonkey) support then. Once Mozilla started their own forum and it got going better around 2008 there was less activity from Mozilla people here.
Sounds like you are going to say https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/new/ and not say http://www.mozilla.org or better yet the Systems & Languages link below the green download button which is http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all where it has added benefit of full offline setup for Windows listed and not the online stub installer.
