okay so me liking the idea of custom building firefox i downloaded a release build and learnt to successfully build it. afterwards i decided to move onto the more intense stuff, that's right.... nightly builds! so i start pulling mozilla central but then suddenly i have to go so i cancel it prematurely. next time i go on, i start the operation again and it says the folder is occupied! silly girl that i am i permanently delete the folder... later on i found out i should use hg recover but due to the now missing folder it won't work... what should i do?

Not a problem, I just moved your post to a location where it is more likely to be seen by those who may be able to help.

Have you tried deleting the Firefox source code you got from hg and checking it out again?
I know that can be a pain because it takes a while.
