Just downloaded and expanded seamonkey on Centos 7 and get this error.

Code: Select all
[cadmin@dpcentws01 seamonkey]$ ./seamonkey
bash: ./seamonkey: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory
[cadmin@dpcentws01 seamonkey]$

A quick google yields instructions to go through a repetitive process of execution/identify missing file/find appropriate package/install/repeat.

Is this the only way or did I do something wrong from the start?

Thanks,

Dale

Is your OS 32-bit or 64-bit? Does it match the version of SeaMonkey you downloaded? That can lead to library problems if it doesn't match.
