Does anyone still compile their own build? (Linux)

Before quantum I used to compile my own for both Linux and MS windows as I liked to configure some GB centric settings. I'd like to move the control F page find button to the top of the screen but don't really know how.

I'd also like to find a dev who can build me a virtual firefox build environment.

I would appreciate some helpful suggestions My main platform is Ubuntu Linux.
