SeaMonkey 2.0.8 & Thunderbird 3.1.4
SeaMonkey 2.0.8 optimised builds are up, plus Thunderbird 3.1.4 builds are ready now.
Other builder's note: Using "make client.mk distclean" with Thunderbird 3.1.3+ fails badly and will leave your source tree unusable but "make client.mk clean" will still work ok.

Firefox 3.6.12
Ok, back to the start again. Firefox 3.6.12 optimised builds are available for your enjoyment.
I just hope there's no more quick security updates again after this. It really is annoying to spend time going through all the different builds and half way through to start all over again.

Re: [Fx/Tb/Sm] RPMozley: 2010-10-31 [Release/OSX] (G3/G4/G5)
RPMozley, I would appreciate if you have any comments, especially on the optimization options. I wanted to compile Firefox for my Powermac G4 and I came up with the .mozconfig file shown below based on the information I could find on the internet. It works but I wanted to know if I could improve it for better performance. Do you have any recommendations?
Code: Select all
CC="gcc-4.2"
CXX="g++-4.2"
HOST_CC="gcc-4.2"
HOST_CXX="g++-4.2"
RANLIB=ranlib
AR=ar
AS=$CC
LD=ld
STRIP="strip -x -S"
# Options for client.mk.
mk_add_options MOZ_OBJDIR=@TOPSRCDIR@/firefox.obj
mk_add_options MOZ_MAKE_FLAGS=-j4
mk_add_options MOZILLA_OFFICIAL=1
mk_add_options MOZ_CO_LOCALES=en-US
mk_add_options MOZ_CO_PROJECT=browser
# Options for 'configure' (same as command-line options).

@ mrg666:
Well, all I can say is to look at the Mac OS X reference Library regarding optimisation options, if you haven't already done so. It's where I looked for options in my builds.
On the most part your mozconfig seems reasonable. You may want to remove "MOZILLA_OFFICIAL=1" though as custom builders shouldn't really be using this, it's a Mozilla internal option to be used "in-house" only.

Re: [Fx/Tb/Sm] RPMozley: 2010-11-01 [Release/OSX] (G3/G4/G5)
Thanks RPMozley. I am not distributing the builds. That is why I used the official branding. I am just building for my own use and fun. I will keep experimenting with the other options reading gcc manual which seems to have the same information in your link. Thank you again.
