Autofox IV - A New Hope (or the version that understands hg...)
Business as usual, except I'm consolidating all builds for each architecture in to one single pass. x86_64 Builds - 06:00 Sydney Time Since I'm obviously too lazy to keep this post up to date, refer to the Autofox Build Directory With the exception of SeaMonkey, release builds are done as required or requested. The SeaMonkey release builds are also available from mozilla.org (contributed builds). Release builds do not use the compiler or libraries listed below, see the README file for details. Build System Dual AMD Opteron 2378 16GB RAM openSUSE Linux 11.1 Compiler gcc version 4.3.2 [gcc-4_3-branch revision 141291] (SUSE Linux) Libraries glibc-2.9-2.10.1 gtk2-2.14.4-8.5.2 glib2-2.18.2-5.1 xorg-x11-7.4-8.18 libstdc++43-4.3.3_20081022-9.8 Where are the 32 bit builds? They'll reappear when I set up a suitable chroot - I'll admit it, I've been buried with work lately. Questions? Requests? Flames? Fire away. Autofox has risen from the ashes so many times, I guess that's because it keeps going down in flames. :D Well, I'm still 32 bit so of course I couldn't use your 64 bit specials. Good luck with your most recent incarnation. : )

Not really. Reallocation of hardware and other fun things mean I don't always have the equipment for it, and things like work mean I don't always have the time to work around the aforementioned problems. The following Autofox build cycle will not operate:
2008041702 (x86_64 Mozilla 1.8) The following changes have been implemented: i686 builds enabled Autofox resurrected again. See first post.
Added comm-central Thunderbird build (x86_64)
Thanks for this: Thunderbird (hg comm-central)
Just got it running on etch x86_64, no comes the prayers for stability:-) Thanks again for your effort. Thanks a lot for the 64-bit SeaMonkey builds!
I was just about to try building it myself, and based on past attempts, that would not have gone well ![]() Thanks again! Maybe I spoke too soon. On my 64-bit Debian Sid/Experimental, SeaMonkey crashes as soon as I select a profile. And this build doesn't have debugging turned on. I did not have this problem with the 64-bit contributed alpha2 build from mozilla.org. Any advise, or maybe a debuggable build?
Thanks Edit: Well, that was the most recent (17th), but I tried the build from the 15th, and it is working fine (posting from it). So I guess it doesn't matter as long as most future builds work. Adjustment to build scheduling
The builds will now run at a time when I'm practically guaranteed to not be using this computer - 0600 Sydney time (I'm either at work or asleep at that hour). First run at adjusted time will be at 0600 on February 14 (additional run). New Builds The following builds have been added to the script, and will be available to download if/when they work: SeaMonkey with Qt SeaMonkey with Lightning Thanks for making these 64 bit builds available.
Unfortunately the "import" feature appears to be broken on both the latest firefox and thunderbird 64 bit builds. This is a fairly serious problem as most folks are looking at 64 bit builds from the perspective of migrating away from 32 bit. We definitely do not want to re-enter everything manually. ![]()
Do you need to import? I just kept using the same profile from 32-bit.
