Now some good news.... there's a patch for #1 of the bugslist, #239722 :-))

Hey, wait, you know us Linux users count too - why not just mark it as a Linux only bug? I don't like people who are ingnorant towards Linux...

And nowhere do I see stated that this is a Windows-only build thread...

Under Tools: Extensions - TESTING ONLY, you will see something interesting:

I had these show up:

Sycamore 1.5
Power context menu
Ron Jeremy

Magpie 3.0

RSSBandit 4.0

I never installed nor wanted these extensions.

What's up with that?

sasquatch - that's just some random crap giving you an example of the layout it will use. ignore it for the time being.

Who is "Ron Jeremy"?

Is that something which should be on a PC which could be seen at work or at home by children? I think this should be taken off immediately if it is something inappropriate.

Ron Jeremy is a pornstar with large equipment. Is that inappropriate?

Ummm... since when is a name, a name that doesn't contain profanity, by the way, "something inappropriate"?

And how the heck do you know who "Ron Jeremy" is anyhow? Been watching some movies you'd like to tell us about?

Well, the initial post only mentions the Windows build, and if you look at the subject, you'll see it says "Win32".

Most of the information Peter(6) posts applies to all platforms, but it seems he's primarily concerned with Windows. He's not doing this in any official capacity...

That's one interpretation. For all we know, it could also be an auto mechanic from Sheboygan who writes code for fun.

Even if it's somebody having fun with their online handle, I fail to see how it's going to warp impressionable young minds.

I do not wish to discriminate Linux users, but because I don't know anything about Linux (ignorant) I don't want to include it in the report.
I also kick all bugs/fixes that are not marked Win or All (for OS) out.
The trunk/branch issue after 0.9 will be no doubt tough enough to handle in 1 thread.
Maybe in the future I'll add Linux/Max, but give me some time to settle, I'm only doing this for a few month now.

I wonder how many people who use nightlies would let their kids touch the computer much less use the nightly...
Although, I'm 16, so nevermind, even though I pretty much own the computer :P

I think it would be nice, Peter(6), if you changed this from a "The Official Win32 YYYY-MM-DD build is {not} out" to a multi-platform thread, therefore including the increasing amount of Linux users.

More examples:
Win32 Out, Linux Out, Mac out:
The "Official YYYY-MM-DD Nightly build" thread (+W32 +L +Mac)

No builds out except Mac:
The "Official YYYY-MM-DD Nightly build" thread (-W32 -L +Mac)

You get the idea.
It would be really nice for you to include Linux in here too.
