This morning I manually updated to Thunderbird 45.0
After being warned there was a problem with the Lightning extension, I attempted to un-install/re-install it.
Lightning will not install.
Is Calendar in Thunderbird gone for good ? ? ?
Any help appreciated!

Thank you so much!patclash wrote:development version 4.7b3
I had already started looking for a T-bird replacement. Integrated calendar is critical to my email workflow.
Fingers crossed that Mozilla has not abandoned Thunderbird. It's the only think keeping me from submitting to the complaints of our I.T. Director that I should go 100% Chrome.

The FAQ is wrong. It says T-bird ships with Lightning disabled.tanstaafl wrote:See Is Thunderbird dead and other FAQ.
It does not.

That was referring to the goals for version 38. Things have changed.
