Unsure how the "invite attendee" system work

Post by fred7109 »

Hello,

I cannot understand how to use the "invite attendee" system.

1. I have send an invitation for an event to Yahoo account
2. In the Yahoo account I accept the invitation
3. In the inbox to the account from which I send the invitation I get an email "Accepted: [Name of event]". This is fine, however, a file, "reply.ics", is attached to this email, and I don't know how to import this "reply.ics" into the event, so I know that the person has accepted - as it doesn't happen automatically. Because even though I get an email saying that the invitation to the event has been accepted by the Yahoo account, it doesn't show up in Thunderbird, and, as stated above, I think I need to import the "reply.ics"?
4. I have tried to manually import the "reply.ics", however, that just gives me an error.

Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
