Hi, I have accepted a recurring meeting request but the initiator didn't put an end date on and the project is now complete. I can't find away to delete all future occurances without deleting those from the past which I want to keep as a record.
I've tried right clicking a future event but the edit option is greyed out as I'm not the organiser.
Any suggestions on how I can achieve this would be welcome.
Thanks

Re: Deleting future recurring events
Unfortunately, you cannot modify or delete events that you didn't create yourself. If the creator is in your company or someone with whom you still have a good relation, you might ask them to modify the event.
Apart from that, you have one workaround:
– Open each event and declare yourself busy or non-available.
Extreme measures:
– If the calendar is a local one, you could export the data in an .ics file and edit it manually (easy but tedious if you know what you are doing).
– If the calendar is a corporate one, you might look at a higher authority, which would have read-write access to their calendar, so they remove future occurences of the event.
