sunbird agenda updating

Post by collen »

Hmm, got sunbird up, and sharing a agenda true a ftp server.
it looks all fine, but ...

if i make event/task and publish it on the ftp server. the agenda on the other pc isn't updated untill i press reload remote callendar!
isn't there a automated refresh function that sync's the data with the ftp server every XX minutes ?

like a plugin.. or extention ?

The bug that covers this seems to have lost its way. Perhaps you can add a comment that will help to bring it back on track.

By the way, Sunbird does support extensions. It would probably be possible to make an extension that does what you want, but it would be better to fix the problem in the product itself.

well, but you don't have the nice extension manager like in ff/tb. are there any sunbird extensions yet, btw?

You are right: Sunbird's extension manager is broken.

My extensions: Calendar Help and Journal are designed to work in Sunbird in addition to Firefox, etc.. I do not know of any others.

My guess is it would also help to have the app version conform to the format the extension manager expects... :) Does anyone know if there's a bug filed on that?
