sorry if this has been already mentioned - couldn't find anything...
well, when I try to enter an event which begins after 12:00 (using the dialog and not by clicking and dragging), the calendar registers it as the same hour in the early morning (that is 4 am instead of 4 pm). This looks like a huge bug, isn't it?

The text box where you can type the time uses the time format set in your operating system. If that format uses AM/PM, and you just type 4, then you get 4 AM. This is silly, but not incorrect. You could request an enhancement to have it changed, if you can think of a way for the program to guess what you really mean.
If you use the time picker, it ignores your operating system settings and always uses a 24-hour clock. This is a known bug.

hmm. if os time is 4:00 pm, then calendar should set the time to 4:00 pm too (if it gets is time information from the os).
well, i never had this kind of problem as europe (besides great britain) uses a 24-hour-clock.
