Cannot set prioirty or category for task

I am using Thunderbird with Lightening under Windows 10 and xp, sync with google calendar and various mail accounts. How I cannot set a priority or category for a Task? I have tried and either the setting has no affect and cannot be saved, or the option is greyed out.

Where do you store the created tasks? In a local calendar? Or in Google Calendar? In the latter case it is possible that the Google Calendar server doesn't support this feature. Therefore the settings don't stick or are disabled in the first place.
