Lightning: how to display more event information?

In Lightning an event is displayed just with its title, even if the event has additional information. Viewing the additional information like location and description at a glance is not possible, the user has to hover each event to get a special popup. So without hovering it's just like this:

I think it would be nice if Lightning displayed location and description (if available) directly in the event if there's room for that information. Like this:

Does anybody know an addon or any other way to achieve this?
