From the main menu Edit/Calendar Properties.../Edit Calendar, I want to change the "Location" field. However the field is not editable. The Thunderbird Support page at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ch ... references says the field is edit enabled. Any help would be appreciated.
I am running Windows 10 on an HP6000.

Correct, calendar location cannot be changed after creation. Just move the ics file to its new location and use menu File > Open > Calendar File to integrate it as a calendar in Lightning. Afterwards unsubscribe from the old calendar.
