I have a question regarding timezones. I seem to find old threads but I wonder if there have been updates that make it easier to use.
Whenever I change timezones, I have to manually change to the one in which I am located. I use Tools -> Options -> Calendar -> Timezone. However, I cannot set it to "local" or "system" or anything of the sort. I have tried setting calendar.timezone.local to "floating" (read that somewhere) but it did not work. Of course, the problem is that if I forget to change it, my appointments shift up or down from the actual local time. I do not have this issue with other devices that use the calendar, just thunderbird.
Is there a way to set it so the timezone detects the timezone of my system or track the local timezone automatically?
