Hi! I'm running Thunderbird 38.5.1 with Lightning 4.0.5.2 on Ubuntu 15.04 Linux without any issues. Today, I imported a VCS file I received from OpenTable.com and the event was added to my calendar perfectly. However, I realized, I was never asked to which calendar to add the event.
So, if I have multiple calendars defined in Lightning, how do I specify the calendar to use for importing?
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!
Peace...

Re: Question about importing ICS and VCS files
I usually select the calendar, or create it before importing.
I do get a prompt about which calendar I want to add the event.
Other than that, I can't help with 38.5.1, Lightning 4.0.5.2 on Ubuntu 15.04. I'm testing 52.0a2 with Lightning 5.4a2 on Ubuntu 16.04.1.
I wonder why 5.4a2 updates everyday though. Lightning in Daily doesn't.

Re: Question about importing ICS and VCS files
Thanks for the replies! Apparently, I left out some relevant information. One of the calendars I have is a Google calendar. After doing some additional online research, I found some additional work is needed to make a Google Calendar accept email invitations. While experimenting with doing this, I re-imported my VCS file and was prompted for which calendar to add the event. Since I'm importing from a file, I can't imagine what I did for email invitations would have made a difference but it appears to have (or I just have a bad memory).
In any event, I used the info I found on this site:

I'll undo that change and see if it makes any difference.
Thanks again!
