Google syced calendar won't accept invitations

Any e-mail invite I get in thunder bird gets added to my local calendar "home"
If I delete the home calendar and only have my google synced calendar I get a message that "there are no writable calendars avalible" to accept the invite.

How do I get my lightning calendar that is synched to google calendar to accept invitations??
