Re: move event between calendars
WARNING: if you try moving an invite event this way, Thunderbird will automatically resend the invite to everyone CCed on the event in the first place

Re: move event between calendars
You have to make a new calendar first. Then right-click > Open the event in question (a window will pop open) and then, from the Calendar drop down, choose the calendar you wish.

Re: move event between calendars
thx for the reply, but that works only for events created by myself.
I cannot do it for events for which I'm invited by others (at least if the invitation was sent by an outlook server).

PackElend,
I just did exactly what you asked about. I right-clicked on an invite in my default calendar and chose copy. I then selected my google synced calendar from the side menu, went back to the appropriate day, right clicked, and chose paste. The invite now shows as being part of that calendar and I was able to delete the original invite.

Hallo,
have used Thunderbird/Lighting for quite a while, so Mozilla may changed/improved something.
Is copy still linked to the original invention or is just a copy of the event details?
I would like to move between the calendars not just copy.
cheers

If you want to move an event you can try the same approach but instead of Copy+Paste use Cut+Paste.
