PPC Build of Minimo

Post by mkeefe »

Is there a PPC build of Minimo available for testing? I would be more than happy to test it out if so.

Doug Turner was kind enough to post his most recent binaries, as of 28-March here:

http://www.meer.net/~dougt/minimo_ce/MinimoCE_0.004.zip

Install PocketCMD (gotten from http://www.symbolictools.de/public/pocketconsole/applications/PocketCMD/pocketcmd_arm_setup.exe) -- the home URL for the great guys at Symbolic Tools is http://www.symbolictools.de/public/pocketconsole/index.htm. You WILL have to soft reset after you install PocketCMD.

Then, unzip Doug Turner's binary ZIP file MinimoCE_0.004.zip to create a directory structure on your PC.

Copy that directory structure from your PC to your PPC.

Then, run the winEmbed.exe application that you copied down to your PPC.
Best Regards,

You dont need pocketCMD to run Minimo. Early versions of Minmo did not get along with pocketCMD at all. The only time you might need pocketCMD is for some cases of odd debuging
