Randallflagg, A forum user by the name of frambach has been nice enough to put together this great guide to minimo here: http://www.frambachinsurance.com/minimo/

Minimo ran on my xscale processor Axim x3i prior to the axim's un-timely death.

randallflagg,
I am running Minimo build ver 0.004 on my DELL AXIM X50v it features:
  • Microsoft® Windows MobileTM 2003 Second Edition
  • Intel® XScaleTM PXA270 624MHz

So, to answer your questions:
randallflagg wrote:when it will be available?
Build ver 0.004 is available NOW!
randallflagg wrote:is a roadmap available somewhere?
I can't answer that but, you may be able to find info here (http://www.meer.net/~dougt/minimo_ce/). That links to Doug Turner's site. He is the guy that is owed credit for the most recent build of Minimo.
randallflagg wrote:will it be developed for xscale processors?
The aforementioned build is working fine with my X50v and WiFi

If you have any other questions, just stick them up here.

No roadmap has been built yet to answer that question.

I do hope Firefox will have a formal release of pocket pc version soon. There are nearly no choice in existing market. Opera have a mobile version but run on Nokia platform only.

Minimo is firefox at its base. There are no other pocket pc browsers being developed off of firefox (or at mozilla foundation as far as I know) besides Minimo of course. Give minimo some time. Early builds are available, links found in my signature

Minimo is very far off from being ready!

Post by sconnell »

I installed Minimo (from http://www.frambachinsurance.com/minimo/) with great anticipation but was disappointed to find that it is not at all useable (yet). :-(

Unlike the crappy MS Internet browser included with my hx4700, Minimo did not lock up my PPC when I navigated to www.skype.com.

Yep, Opera runs on the Phone Edition of Windows Mobile, but not on the Pocket PC edition.
Can't wait for Minomo to progress
