I really like Firefox on my Desktop PC.
On my new Nexus 5 Firefox seems a mess - I cannot find out how to make, for example, Google search, my homepage.
Instead , when I go to any web page, this is "remembered" by a "Tile" (like on Win8 but smaller, of course) - so the whole of the screen is soon filled up with 8 Tiles.
So far, the only way I have found to get rid of the Ties is to go through a process of "pinning" then "unpinning" each Tile separately. Its all very slow, messy and clumsy - so far.
I am sure - well I hope - that Android 4.4 or the version of Firefox that runs on it must be better that this.
I hope that it is just my newbie-ness with the Nexus 5 and Android-Firefox. I am sure it will all be clear in 6 months' time. But that's 6 months of pain .
Any tips on how to get a clean home page and get rid of this Tiles c**p would be appreciated.
