Firefox for Android offers me no option to set my own home page! Why is that?
I searched this forum and found no reference to this bug! Why is that?
Mozilla say, "We make it Firefox. You make it your own", and "Our most customisable Firefox for Android yet", and I'm not allowed to choose my own homepage? Why is that?
I read that it was once an option in 'about:config', but it was removed. Why is that?
Do I have to modify the source code and recompile Firefox to "make it my own"?; if so,... Why is that?
If I cannot choose my own home page then I've chosen the wrong browser!
But maybe there's a way (without the use of a third-party plug-in)!

I can't answer your questions because I don't use Firefox Mobile, but just so it's clear, this forum is not run by or formally associated with Mozilla. We're an independent user-helping-user community.
Someone else with experience using Firefox on an Android device will likely post the answer to all of those questions.

The option to set a startpage is already in the test-builds, and will come soon.
