I did a little searching around here and could not find anything...so...
I use a Nexus 7 2012 and as most know it only has 1gig of memory...so, I like to keep it trimmed down where possible.
I was checking around in some of the settings in Android and in the apps area... and in the 'Running' list and did not see Firefox running, because I had closed it out... but I also played around with CCleaner and it stated that Firefox was running... so much for the Google product... anyway, I checked my mem-use and noted the amount of available mem. to use and then I stopped Firefox via CCleaner and then rechecked the mem-number displayed by the Google product...and I now had more memory available...
So my question is this. When a user closes Firefox is it Firefox itself that keeps itself loaded in memory or is it Android doing that.
I use many apps on this tablet and I do know that a couple of them do not really go away but I was surprised that Firefox was one of them... 'and' I also installed the Kill addon for Firefox but it didn't solve the problem...
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks.
