Add new search engine to Android Firefox: icon?

I can add a new search engine like Wiktionary from its site, but no icon accompanies it. When I do a search in Firefox it gets a default "looking-glass" in the icon list. If I add two or more, they all have the same icon -- very confusing! Am I doing something wrong? Is there a solution for this?

I'll answer my own question: I had javascript turned off (see my other thread about Noscript), and that seems to interfere with acquiring the icon for the new search engine. With JS enabled there is no problem.
