lock down or disable about:config

I don't know where to ask this question so I'll start here. I am building from source a customized version of firefox. I need to disable access to about:config or at least the proxy settings. How do I do this in the source? Thanks for any help.

You've posted in the Mobile forum but your User Agent String indicates you're posting from a Win 10 platform. In what environment do you intend to use that build? Under Win 10 or some mobile OS?
