Mobile only about:config settings for optmzing perfrmnce

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for, preferably a Mozillazine post that has an updated list (2017) of performance related settings that can be changed to get the most out of a Samsung tablet, mine is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 SM-T330NU to be exact.

If there isn't any post on this site about all the possible tweaks to get optimal performance out of Firefox for Android then I'll be happy to browse links to other sites if you have any..... I've scoured over google but I've only come up with settings for Windows versions of Firefox, not mobile/Android, if I do the windows tweaks it could have major negative effects on my performance, such as adjusting cache sizes, memory or similar settings, as computers handle much higher numbers than a tablet would, thus having negative results. So yeah, Android Firefox specific settings are needed.

Experience reported here for most so-called performance tweaks for Windows indicates you typically can't improve on the default settings.

I expect this holds true for mobile versions. But if you DO find something that actually improves performance, report back, as I wouldn't mind speeding up my Galaxy Tab A.

Well, there is one HUGE performance tweak, disable javascript!
about:config setting: javascript.enabled - FALSE.

But then a lot of websites won't run correctly, especially Facebook, I don't get it, everyone says disable javascript, fine and dandy, and it does indeed give a huge performance boost, but it crappifies your browsing experience as most sites use javascript. Hrmmmphf.

I'm looking into some more settings as we speak, I'll compile a list, for Android devices like ours that actually work!
