Android smartphone copy of desktop view

Post by petergo »

hi

running FF ver 52.3.0 ESR and win 10 pro on desktop and Blu smartphone Android version ?? but pretty new

I have the FF app on the smartphone, and I am trying to get a similar web page like I have on my desktop, with existing menu, tool and bookmarks bars

I believe after I signed in on the phone it is syncing with the desktop

I am a newbie with smartphone, and wonder am I expecting to much of the phone or is it possible to get a similar view like I have on my desktop?

kindest thanks, cheers

Three dot menu in upper right corner.
Request desktop site.

help!!

sorry, tapping only worked on one website, on the next few it made no difference, and because there is a lot of content on the web sites I visited, even with a magnifying glass I can't read anything

where's the control + + when you need it? <smiles>

thnx, cheers

Request desktop site.
is only per site, not in general!
are you using KLAR/Focus or the regular android version?

ofc browsing with firefox on a smartphone is complete different as on desktop, there is a lot different eg no mouse, no right click and more.

You should be able to do pinch zooming on any website. Put two fingers together on the screen and then spread them apart to zoom in. Move them together to zoom out. That's how you have to zoom if you are viewing a desktop site on your phone. If you are viewing a mobile site, it may not zoom, but the text size should respect your phone settings.
