Can't view Youtube desktop site anymore.

Post by Slickone »

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 66.0.5 a few days ago, if I go to www.youtube.com, it redirects to m.youtube.com, and is formatted like the mobile site. If I request the desktop site in FF settings, it still goes to m.youtube.com, and even though the format of the page looks similar to the desktop site (everything tiny), it's not. For one thing, the search filters (ie. Live) are missing, which are only available on the desktop site. I now have FF 67, which was released today, and still have the same problem.

I hate that sites treat my tablet like a phone. I add ?app=desktop (change ? to & if not the first option) to all my youtube url's. There is a User-Agent Switcher that I thought about trying.

Adding &app=desktop to the end worked. I use different youtube bookmarks, so I can just add it to all them. Thanks a lot!
