Infinite spinner with sync, what now?

Hi!
I only get the damned spinner. Nothing useful ever shows up. What do I need to do?
It's the latest version from the playstore.

PS: when I try to leave an angry feedback the page loading times out... Do I need to downgrade to some old version to get a usable Firefox instance on mobile as well?

It was freshly installed when I opened the topic.

Don´t know what to say. I had the same problem and that solved the issue.
Clean reinstall, no add-ons. Then the thing worked.

If anyone cares, the solution was easy. Just open the URL that the desktop browser uses to log in: https://accounts.firefox.com/signin?con ... rvice=sync
