New FF has lost tab-slider. Or maybe never had it? - For FF Desktop exists:
Perhaps tabs can be enabled it somehow? about:config does not exist.

Re: tab-slider for FF android missing. "about:config"?
about:config was removed from Firefox for Android, but the Beta and Nightly Firefox's have it.
The one thing preventing me from using Firefox for Android, is when I access Bookmarks, it opens the bookmark in a new tab and there is no (currently known) way to use the browser with only one tab. If either the Beta or Nightly Android releases have something in about:config that allows it to use only one tab, I'd like to know which setting that is.

Now you can do tab slide using url bar, uhm. I'm on Nightly like epp said it's there.
Anyway most of the time nowdays a lot of user use nightly instead of release version for unknown reason. well for me it's stable enough.
