Post by kf4fco »

Restarted minimo and it fixed it sorry

ipaq 6515 with ver011 and looking at the latest radar image from the nws and the image will not display

here is the link that I am trying

http://www.srh.noaa.gov/radar/images/DS ... latest.gif

1st time user of browser other wise I like it. I tried to turn off the screen sizing features and still no image.

With the screen sizing turned off the scroll bars appear like it wants to show the gif image.

thanks

Is there a limit on png/gif image size?

Post by bertelli »

Hello,
I'm trying to use these development version of Minimo to show internet maps which include fairly big map images, say 1300 x 1300 pixels. The size is around 90KB in png format (with a lower compression they are more than 120KB). There is no way to display them, in png, gif or jpeg format.
Is this an intended behaviour? Are there fixed memory limits o it's just a question of time (waiting for the next stable version)? This happens on Windows mobile 2003, regardless of device and speed of processor (I tried it on our Audiovox PPC4100, but also on two iPaqs).
