Good to know and the question was directed to another post, not yours. ;-)

I have a slight problem with 1.3.3beta2. I use Menu Wizard to prune and organize my menus. I have moved About Firefox from Help in pane two of the Firefox menu to the number one position in pane one. After installing 1.3.3beta2, About Firefox disappears from the menu. This happens with all versions (Firefox 38, FxBeta32/64, FxDev32/64, FxNitely32/64 and Cyberfox 38). I have rolled all back to 1.3.2beta6.
Windows 10 Pro I7/16mb - work laptop, Windows 10 I7/32mb 6TB - home desktop
Cyberfox 52-64, Waterfox 56, Firefox Nightly 62, Opera 12.18, Opera Dev, Vivaldi 1.16
About 46 extensions in the Fx branches. All are portable and run from a USB 3.0 SSD drive.

I had to add own menu items for Fx29-37 and Fx38+ and to hide the ones not in use, because Mozilla changed internal label variables for some strings, but there is another way.

Test this build

Code: Select all

This works on Windows, I still have to test Linux/MacOSX.

As usual, thanks for the quick turn around. It works for me in Cyberfox and Fx38 thru FX41.

To hide "View Pocket List" from the Bookmarks menu in userChrome add this:

#menu_pocket {
display: none !important;
}

#menu_pocket+menuseparator {
display: none !important;
}

Can this be added as a tick-mark-option to CTR's Advance Menu "Pocket"?

The visible 'pocket' menu items in bookmarks menu and in bookmark buttons menu are a Firefox bug.
You have to remove pocket button from toolbars and move it to customizing palette. Once its there the menu entries are gone too. Afterwards you can disable the pocket feature using the about:config preference CTR provides.

Thanks, that works. I used the wrong sequence, as I started by disabling the pocket feature in CTR before moving the button back to the customizing palette.

CTR 1.3.3beta4 with curved tabs alternative working well here.

No other style or viewing add-on, extension or plug-in.

:wink: I'm probably not much of a workout: single-core netbook Atom N270, 2Gb RAM with FireFox 38.0.1 and Win7 Starter edition.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before (I did try searching for a similar issue)

The tab-close buttons on inactive tabs is corrupted on Linux Mint 17 (xfce) 64-bit, running ff38.0 and CTR1.3.2:

When I mouse-over the tab button, it goes back to 'normal' as per the active tab in the above screenshot.

I had the same issue on Ubuntu 14.4 64-bit.

Cheers,

Mike.

@lenny2013
Could you disable CTR and recheck, if tab close button is fine?

I'm asking, because the option "squared tabs (australized)" does not change close buttons appearance and you are not using any other tab close option, that could change it. Default Fx code is used all the time.

Btw. I don't see this glitch on Linux Mint KDE or Ubuntu.

Pocket button is not present in reader mode, if you remove pocket toolbar button from your toolbars, before disabling its about:config pref (via CTR).
