This does not work on Firefox 3.6b2 (Windows 7 Pro 64-bit) for downloading .exe files. I tried downloading two different .exe files from two different sites, and in both cases, the default open file window was displayed (see links below).

Hm, I neither own Windows 7 nor an x64 system. Anyone else?

Yes, I see this in console:

No chrome package registered for chrome://opendownload/locale/opendownload.properties

On 3.6b3 and Vista 64bit

Hm, that directory doesn't even exist... I guess it is somehow related to x64. Gonna investigate about that, thanks.

OpenDownload 2.1.3 is available on the website.
Added chrome.manifest, removed contents.rdf.

Good to know. Thank you then...
Dropping SeaMonkey 1.x support (needed without the contents.rdf file anyway) and uploading to AMO.

Hi tuxman,

I'm an happy italian user of your extension and I would like to contribute translating it.

Can you give me resources and instructions on how to do it?

Thanks in advance and continue with the dev ;)

Ah, another language which is still missing...
Everything related to translating OpenDownload is handled via BabelZilla.org.

Register there and apply as a translator here if you want to contribute. When you're done, set the status to "Released" so I know that I can include it in the next OpenDownload versions.

Thank you for your kind words. :)
